Terry Pratchett’s Discworld books have already proven to be fertile ground for TV adaptations, with Sky One producing films based on Hogfather, The Colour of Magic and Going Postal between 2006 and 2010.

Now a new eight-part series, The Watch, comes to BBC iPlayer, following the misfit officers of City Watch – the police force of the Discworld city of Ankh-Morpork.
