The debut novel What Did You Do in the War, Sister? T by Dennis J. Turner tells the story of a group of Catholic nuns who become involved in the Belgian resistance movement against Nazi Germany during World War 11. What Did You Do in the War, Sister? inspires and empowers each reader to find their own courage to stand up and make a difference in the world.
Dennis Turner is a highly acclaimed lawyer and popular law professor. He has been a Professor of Law at the University of Dayton School of Law since 1974 and has served as Assistant Dean, Acting Dean, Director of the Law Clinic, and Director of the Legal Profession program. The University of Dayton awarded him its highest award for teaching the Faculty Teaching Award. He has also received numerous Teacher of the Year awards from his students and was chosen to be one of the Master Teaching Fellows for the university.

What Did You Do in the War, Sister? is Turner's first work of fiction. Originally a self-published run of 2,000 copies, he's now into his third edition and has sold over 35,000 copies. In February 2022, the book was released as a paperback in Great Britain and the Commonwealth countries.
