Is it true that a patient with chest pain always has heart disease? 

Chest pain is a symptom of heart attack – but it is a symptom which could be mimicked by diseases affecting many other organs as well, which can include lungs, stomach, skin, muscles, bones, teeth, bony joints etc.

When should I see Cardiologist if I have chest pain? 

First episode of chest uneasiness/ pain/heaviness, needs evaluation by a Cardiologist. Chest pain which can be pinpointed are usually not the ones arising from the heart. Also chest pain with associated symptoms of breathing difficulty/ sweating/ giddiness needs immediate attention!!

Can we identify heart disease in the beginning itself?
