In the March edition of Heartfulness Magazine, we invite you to consider: attention flourishes when it is welcomed, not imposed. Our attention scatters easily - in meetings, conversations, or across browser tabs. We usually respond by trying harder to eliminate distractions and enforce focus. If attention scatters, we believe stronger control is the solution. In this month’s edition of Heartfulness Magazine, our contributors reinforces the following ideas: attention develops naturally under supportive conditions and resists forced control. Instead of battling distraction, we should focus on removing what blocks natural focus, allowing attention to settle where it is needed. IchakAdizes shows how linking bonuses to performance metrics shifts attention to safe targets, while separating them lets focus return to what matters. Jason Nutting realizes that meditation flows more naturally when we surrender effort and allow ourselves to be drawn inward. Daaji explains that alertness emerges on its own when inner obstacles are removed, rather than through mental effort. Alanda Greene discovers how journal writing created conditions for her singing voice to emerge, while pushing herself to perform only reinforced the block. And much more. We always welcome your submissions at contributions@heartfulnessmagazine.com Happy reading, The editors
