Mental health is a lot more than the absence of illness—it is an intrinsic part of overall health and well-being, and with that comes the need to integrate it into primary health care around the world. Mental well-being is dependent on happiness, joy, and love. So, this month our authors and artists have gravitated to these themes. Renowned author, Dr. Abraham Verghese, talks about his latest novel, The Covenant of Water, and we hear from Frederick Arment, Ichak Adizes, Manish Kulkarni, Melissa Connelly, Jason Nutting, Brian Barnett, Josh Bulriss, Sara Bubber, and Elizabeth Denley. Daaji shares two gems with us—one on tenderness and love, and the other on the benefits of a meditative mind.
