An exhibition in Florence tells the typically Italian story of Salvatore Ferragamo’s return to Italy after 12 years in the United States – a tale full of wonderful inventions, courage and beauty, skilled hands and innovative techniques.
The virtuoso designer has created a unique and contemporary living space to meet the client’s requirements of a home with a “factor of understated elegance”. With bespoke designed interiors conceptualized by the setting, the designer has with great attention to the finer details, completed a ‘Design Penthouse’.
The project, a collaboration between Jestico+Whiles (UK) and Lilantha Wijayapala of Design Forum sought to merge the requirements of the British educational and cultural relations along with organisations and the tropical climate of Sri Lanka.
Spa Ceylon an iconic Sri Lankan brand that draws inspiration from ancient Ceylon, has created a landmark space with their latest store and spa in Pelawatte, Sri Lanka.
