The "Hydraulics & Pneumatics" section in IPF Feb 2019 explained how adoption of electronic and proportional controls in the equipment and machineries is having an impact on the industry. The "Second Focus Section" tracked the evolving market of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and its growth drivers. Lubricants are used to reduce friction between the surfaces. Good lubricants possess the various characteristics like high boiling point, low freezing point, high resistance to oxidation, corrosion prevention, high viscosity index, thermal stability, hydraulic stability, and demulsibility. In its "Third Focus Section", IPF elaborated on effect of rise in auto sales, rapid industrialisation and shifting of the production hubs to India on the consumption of lubricants in India.
