Welcome to our Summer 2018 issue of Autostrada!
This is the time of the year that we’ve all been waiting for. Our friends and readers have awoken their beautiful machines from their winter hibernation and set them loose on streets and racetracks all over the world. The Canadian winters make our driving season that much more exciting as we try pack in as many automotive experiences as possible before the seasons change.
Our cover feature for this issue is the legendary Urban Outlaw Magnus Walker. We had the opportunity to chat with Magnus during his spontaneous “Outlaw Gathering” at Porsche Centre Oakville last year. Over 750 people came from all over Ontario and even the United States to have the opportunity to meet their hero. We didn’t leave the dealership until 12:30am that night, and certainly not before the last person in line got their personal autograph and photo with Magnus. This speaks to his character as a truly special ambassador for the automotive community.
As the summer goes on we are looking forward to catching up with our loyal readers and friends at several of the local automotive events around the Toronto area. We recently hosted a successful event with our friends at Acura Canada to give our network the exclusive opportunity to test drive the Acura NSX. Keep an eye on our social media platforms for information about upcoming events including our Autostrada Track Day and more.
