Take our simple test to help determine how quickly your body and mind are ageing, and how to help slow it down

How well are you ageing? Do you climb the stairs and suddenly feel older than your years? Or do you look at others the same age and think I'm holding up well! There are some things regarding our health that we have no control over, such as genetics, but there are others we do - what we eat, how active we are and whether we smoke.
Take our test to see how you're doing - and follow the advice on keeping young.

Take your actual age as your starting point, then add or subtract years depending on your answers to the following questions.
HOW MUCH SLEEP DO YOU GET EACH NIGHT ON AVERAGE?
Less than 6½ hours +1
6½ to 7¼ hours -1
7½ to 8¼ hours 0
REMEMBER Getting too little sleep hikes your risk of Alzheimer's, heart disease and cancer - although recent research suggests that the negative effects can be cancelled out to some degree by regular exercise.

REMEMBER Gum disease is linked to a higher risk of heart disease. Brush twice a day and don't forget to floss thoroughly.
