1 TANGERINE DREAM
Orange-toned red lipsticks work well on darker skin, and we particularly love this zingy shade. As the colour stands out, keep eyeshadow relatively bare or try a similar tone, such as warm bronze.

2 LAVENDER HAZE
Pastel eyeshadow is back in a big way. Lilac works especially well with blue eyes and is a stylish, fun new tone to try. Apply this liquid formula with a pointed eyeshadow brush to create a liner-esque flick. It's also available in five other vibrant colours, including orange and pink.
Barry M Face & Body Pigment Paint, £5.99, barrym.com
3 PASTEL POP
An easy way to experiment with brighter colours is to try them on your nails. It's not as daunting as going all-in with your face make-up, and it's a great commitment-free way of trying something new. This aqua tone will work on hands and feet, and has a high-shine finish.
O.P.I Nail Lacquer in NFTease Me, £14.90, opiuk.com
