Picnic PostNL DS Matt Winston tells Tom Thewlis that he wants the 22-year-old Scot to fly under the radar
-

Picnic PostNL head into the Tour de France in need of results as the battle to avoid relegation from the World Tour hots up, but the Dutch team are aiming to keep any related burden or pressure off their high-flying Oscar Onley.
Onley, 22, heads into the race for a second time in outstanding form. The Scottish rider has recorded top-10 finishes in four of the five stage races he has ridden in 2025, with third overall at the recent Tour de Suisse being the best result. The man from Kelso also outsprinted João Almeida (UAE Team-Emirates-XRG) to take the win on the race's queen stage, his second victory at WorldTour level.
With Romain Bardet, who took a memorable opening day victory in Rimini last year, now retired from the road, Picnic may turn to Onley as their next-best hope for a stage win in July.
