'NEW BIKE - JUST IN TIME FOR MY BIGGEST TEST!'

After getting back from the Vätternrundan in Sweden at the end of June, life was so hectic that I had no time for any bike sessions in the lead-up to my main goal of the year, the Etape du Tour on 10 July. Adding to my motivation, my new bike was built and ready one week before the event. It is a Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 frame, with SR AM Red groupset and Zipp 303 wheelset.

My old bike was a Vitus Zenium that had a single chainring and was considerably heavier too.
