As much as I liked Missile Command in the arcades, its trackball-based controls weren't really suited to home systems. While there's no denying that Rob Fulop's take on the popular arcade game worked surprisingly well on the Atari 2600, its lack of pace was something that really bothered me.

There's no such problems with Atlantis, as Dennis Koble's fast-paced game is zippy, frantic and exhilarating to play, and because it's built with the Atari 2600 in mind, it has a delightful straightforward control system that adds to its accessibility.
