CITY of Wells' ladies continued their winning ways in the Wild League, winning their latest game at home to Prattens.

Each rink played positively to secure victory by 75-39, earning Wells the maximum 12 league points.
Rink scores: C Gadd, T Bishop, A Midwinter 24 shots (Prattens 13); C Pringle, R Allen, H Willerton 22 shots (Prattens 13); A Churches, P Green, C Skeates 29 shots (Prattens 13).
The ladies' three-rink friendly triples match at home to Somerton was cancelled due to the heavy rain.
The men played their latest game in the Mid Somerset League at Glastonbury Wyrral Park. Winning well on two of the three rinks, Wells were successful overall by 59-32 to gain a valuable ten league points.
Rink scores: P Kirk, R Fisher, D Higgins, A Wickham 24 shots (Glastonbury WP 8); J Rossiter, L Palmer, F Rossi, M Rawle 12 shots (GWP 16); J Manvill, E Norris, C Higgins, A Denning 23 shots (GWP 8).
The men played a friendly four-rink triples match at home against Mark Moor. Winning well on three rinks, and only losing by a single shot on the fourth, Wells won 80-40 overall.
Rink scores: A Prince, P Allen, A Wickham 23 shots (Mark Moor 10); T Blair, L Palmer, M Strudwick 11 shots (Mark 12); P Mays, T Collingwood, M Rawle 24 shots (Mark 8); M de Ferry, P Kirk, G Howell 22 shots (Mark 10).
The final game of a busy week saw the ladies play in the fourth round of the Southey Cup at home against South Petherton.
Played in warm sunshine, three of the four rinks were very closely contested, with the final result going down to the last end - in each case ending in favour of Wells.
With the fourth rink winning well, Wells won 4-0 and by 75-56.
