Heathcoat worries increase after loss to high fliers Paignton

HEATHCOAT were on the wrong end of a nine-wicket defeat against Paignton that added to their Premier division relegation worries.
Four games without a win have left Heathcoat one place and 18 points above the relegation danger area. Sidmouth are the team immediately below Heathcoat, which makes this Saturday's meeting between the old rivals a cruncher for both of them.
Paignton bowled out Heathcoat for a meagre 126, which they knocked-off in fewer than 15 overs.
James Onley-Gregson top-scored for Heathcoat with 34 not out. Next best was Harry Southgate (20), who was the second of five wickets claimed by Paignton’s Aya Gqamana (5-47). Steve George (2-10) and Rory Medlock (1-32) kept the pressure on with economical spells.
Paignton’s only casualty on the chase was opener Noah Wright, who was caught behind for six.
