Man who was turning his life around found dead by friend

42-year-old had taken 'toxic' mix of drugs

A MAN was found dead by his housemate, an inquest heard.

Phillip Steele was found unresponsive by his close friend, who lived in the same Salt Box property in Fenton.

Police confirmed there was no suspicious activity or third party involvement. The inquest heard Mr Steele, of King Street, struggled with addiction but appeared to be making progress and was engaging with help services.
