It's a fight to the finish as Stoke look to save Championship place

STOKE City's Championship fate will be decided on the final day of the season when they visit league rivals Derby County.

Stoke lost 2-0 to Sheffield United at home on Friday night and then watched results come in across the rest of the division on Saturday afternoon. Cardiff City are relegated after a home draw with West Brom while Plymouth Argyle are all-but doomed due to goal difference, despite a win at Preston North End.

Hull City slip into the bottom three because they lost at home to Derby while Luton Town move out of the drop zone because they scored a last-minute winner against Coventry. Preston are looking over their shoulder after losing four on the spin.

It is incredibly tight. Cardiff are bottom and down with 44 points. Plymouth are second bottom with 46 points and a goal difference of minus-36.

Hull are third from bottom with 48 points (-10 GD).
