Help for people to get guidance and training
A JOBS and training service has been expanded to increase the support it can offer city residents and employers.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council's Jobs, Enterprise and Training (JET) Business programme will focus on helping people looking to reenter the jobs market and work with those who need extra support and confidence when searching for work.
It will be coordinated by the JET Business team, made up of professional employment and skills consultants with extensive knowledge of the area and its recruitment requirements. The aim is to build on the original JET programme, which, since 2009, has supported more than 10,000 people with employment advice.
