Grove were losing a feisty affair 6-0 at the time after having two men sent off plus joint manager Tom Pope.

The referee than called a halt to the game which is now in the hands of the league to decide what happens next.

As for the game itself Avro took a 14th-minute lead when Kyle Hawley diverted a Harry Salt shot home from close range.

Logan Cousins headed over for Grove before Avro scored again in the 30th minute when Salt and Ryley Smith set up Hawley to score.

Three minutes later it was 3-0 as Hawley completed his hat trick with a chip over Aaron Woolrich from the edge of the box.
