A CONVICTED child sex offender killed himself before he could be sentenced for his crimes.
Philip Moore ended his own life within the week before he was due to be sentenced.
The 59-year-old, of Kidsgrove, had been found guilty of sexually abusing two young girls. But he was discovered at his William Road home on September 27 last year after locking the door from the inside.
An inquest into his death heard his partner, with the help of neighbours, had managed to break into his property but it was too late and paramedics confirmed him dead at the scene.
