Eritrea has released six Sri Lankan sea marshals detained since 07 November last year.

When the Eritrean Navy apprehended them, the group were employed by Azerbaijani company Caspian Marine Service B.V. via Seagull Maritime PMSC, with Freightplan (Pvt.) Ltd., acting as the local agent.
