Prime Infra ramps up CSR efforts in Cebu after quake

Prime Infrastructure Capital Inc. (Prime Infra) is reinforcing its corporate social responsibility (CSR) footprint in Cebu as it ramps up operations in the province, deploying relief efforts through its social arm, Prime Infra Foundation, and subsidiary Prime Waste Solutions (PWS) Cebu, to assist communities struck by the recent magnitude 6.9 earthquake.

On October 6, the group distributed aid packages to more than 2,000 households across three barangays in San Remigio — Luyang, Victoria, and Kinawahan — providing food packs, canned goods, noodles, and drinking water to affected residents.

The initiative was conducted in coordination with Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival, the Cebu City police, and the Philippine Army, joined by volunteers from PWS, Cebu Water, and Barangay Binaliw residents.

The relief drive was supported by Manila Water Foundation, which supplied five-gallon water containers, underscoring Prime Infra Group’s integrated approach to social impact across its subsidiaries.
