The Benedicto College (BC) Cheetahs sprinted to their third consecutive victory after whipping the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers, 91-83, in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) Season 25 basketball tournament on Thursday night, October 2, at the Cebu Coliseum.

The Cheetahs lost an early 27-14 lead as the Panthers battled back to forge a 31-all deadlock but they quickly regained their offensive bearing to restore a 45-36 edge at the break.

Sustaining their momentum, the Cheetahs hammered the Panthers, 27-15, in the third period before cruising to a 22-point advantage, 86-64, in the closing minutes of the game.

Five Cheetahs cracked double figures in a balanced offensive performance led by Den Rick Orgong with 23 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
