Two partylist groups, Buhay and Ahon Mahirap, conducted campaign activities Cebu the other in anticipation of the May 12, 2025 elections.

The Buhay Party-list focused on promoting pro-life and family-centered policies, while Ahon Mahirap highlighted its advocacy for poverty alleviation and accessible social services.

Buhay Partylist former representative and now first nominee Lito Atienza, in a press conference, said that their focus is to protect and promote the sanctity of family life.

Atienza said that they make sure that their advocacies and programs reach every household.

Dr. Rene Josef Bullecer, second nominee of Buhay Partylist, said with Cebu’s 3.5 million registered voters, they expect to get at least 500,000 votes. This aside from getting votes from nearby provinces.

Fe Mantuhac Barino, a prominent Cebuana businesswoman and lay leader, encouraged voters to exercise their right to vote on election day and vote for partylist that truly supports life and family.
