They were flown in from Rajkot on Tuesday morning and produced before the chief metropolitan magistrate in the Esplanade Court, Mumbai, which remanded them in police custody till April 25. They have been charged, among other things, with attempt to murder.
According to Joint Commissioner (Crime) Lakhmi Gautam, soon after the incident, 12 teams were formed; the main investigation was led by a team of Unit 9 of the Crime Branch. Based on human intelligence and technical input, two teams were despatched to Bhuj in Gujarat.
