Everyone is busy, rushing and running around. A study at Stanford University in California found that those who think that they are ‘too busy’ and ‘do not have time’, experience a 50 per cent drop in performance, and a 100 per cent increase in stress. Rather than being busy, let us be easy. Life is a journey, but happiness is not a destination. We work all our lives thinking, “When I achieve this goal, I will be happy”. Day after day we postpone our happiness. But spirituality teaches us to create happiness every moment, in every activity. When we weave happiness into whatever we are doing, our life changes completely. Happiness does not at all depend on what we possess - it depends solely on how satisfied we are, and how much peace there is in our life.
