1. RASGULLA - THE BENGALI DELIGHT

Originating in West Bengal in the 19th century, rasgulla is a spongy, syrupy ball made from chhena (Indian cottage cheese) and semolina. Its soft texture, soaked in sugar syrup, makes it a favorite across India and abroad. It gained fame through the rivalry between Odisha and West Bengal over its origin, but today it symbolizes Bengal's sweet artistry. Iconic sweet shops like K.C.
