INVISIBLE MAN: Palace's Oliver Glasner
OLIVER GLASNER has already etched his name into Crystal Palace folklore.
But following a summer of frustration at Selhurst Park, the elation of May’s historic FA Cup Final triumph has swiftly faded away.
So much so, that when the humble Austrian boarded an Elizabeth Line train in London on Thursday he somehow still went entirely unnoticed.
Asked if he had grasped the impact of his side's achievements on the local community, Glasner revealed: “We had the Premier League managers’ meeting at Stockley Park, and I went on the tube - there was no selfie, no autograph, so for me, that was a positive.”
