Brave survivor of rape ordeal gets a letter from Queen Now she wants to visit ex in jail.. & look him in the eye

RAPE survivor Gisele Pelicot said she was “overwhelmed” to receive a letter of support and praise from Queen Camilla.

The 73-year-old has spoken out about her ordeal at the hands of her ex-husband, Dominique.

Over nine years, he repeatedly drugged her, raped her and allowed other men to do the same.

Camilla, 78, wrote to her: “I very much wanted to write to express my heartfelt admiration for the courage, grace and dignity with which you have faced the horrific crimes committed against you.”

The Queen thanked her, saying she had “inspired women across the globe” and “created a powerful legacy that will change the narrative around shame, forever”.

Gisele said: “I was overwhelmed. Although my words touched the whole world, I wasn't expecting a letter from the Court of England. I felt moved and very honoured that she had become aware of what had happened to me.”

Some 50 men were found guilty of rape or sexual offences against her in 2024 after a three-month trial in Avignon, France.
