WE WERE RED AND BURIED BY KOBI BLOW
Sunday Mail
|April 06, 2025
MICHAEL WIMMER claimed Motherwell were "killed" by Kofi Balmer's red card as Kilmarnock dragged them towards the danger zone.

Killie led through Fraser Murray's strike when Balmer was sent off by ref Matthew MacDermid after a VAR check in 26 minutes.
Balmer followed through on a clearance and caught Murray's knee.
Well held on to half-time but Joe Wright's 52nd-minute header condemned the 10 men to defeat.
Boss Wimmer raged: "It was never a red card.
"It was my mistake as I spoke before the game that, on this pitch, we should always clear the ball away.
"Of course, he has knocked him but it was one movement, he was just clearing the ball.
"We have to try it (appeal) because in my opinion it was never a red.
"The game was killed for us after the red card.
