Cure latest to announce Blackweir gig for next summer

ROCK legends The Cure will perform a huge outdoor show in Cardiff next year joining Metallica, Take That, Ethel Cain, Pitbull, Lewis Capaldi, and Teddy Swims in the lineup of gigs for 2026.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees have announced they will perform a headline show in front of thousands of fans at Blackweir Fields on Wednesday, June 24.

The Cure will take to the stage at the 35,000-capacity venue before touring around the UK.

Fans can sign-up for pre-sale tickets which will be available at 10am on Thursday, October 16, via blackweirlive.com/thecure.

Tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Friday, October 17, via blackweirlive.com and Ticketmaster. The Cardiff date will be one of The Cure's first UK shows since the release of their number one album Songs of A Lost World.

They then play shows in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, and Edinburgh alongside a headline set at the Isle of Wight Festival next summer.
