A COUNCIL is planning to increase the amount of rates relief for businesses in its area.
-
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is considering increasing its local rates relief scheme from a maximum of £500 per qualifying business to an increased maximum of £625 in 2026/27 and £750 in 2027/28.
The qualifying criteria of the Welsh Government Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Rate Relief Scheme (RLH), which is coming to an end in March, would be applied for the local rate relief scheme.
