It was a Claus for celebration when a group of care home residents embarked on a festive trip to meet Father Christmas, proving that you are never too old to get on the good list.
-
Residents from Catherine House Care Home, in Frome, visited Critchill Manor Estate to soak up the seasonal atmosphere.
For many, the outing was about more than just meeting Santa; the familiar sights and small details of the grotto stirred fond memories of family festivities past.
As the minibus arrived, the group and their activities coordinator, Sharon, were greeted by Santa's helpers.
The festive mood was established immediately, with resident Kathleen commenting on how amazing the elves’ workshop appeared.
