Hola Cyril, it's good to have you back with us on In Touch after quite a few years. Since the last time we spoke, you probably have some more stories for us.

- By Tshepang Mailwane

Yeah, I think the last time we spoke was in 2022, so it's great to be back to share some stories with the Soccer Laduma readers. I don't even know where to start, but let's start with where I currently am at Black Leopards. My roommate in the team is Lucky Baloyi. He is the cleanest and most disciplined guy I have ever come across in my life. Let's say breakfast is at 08h00. At 07h00, he would go take a shower. Then after breakfast, you can decide what you want to do. Some guys take a nap, while others are on their phones or on the PlayStation. So, Lucky takes a nap and then he wakes up at 10:00 and takes a shower again. Then we have our team meeting at 11h00, which is followed by the pre-match meal. That's around 12h00. Before we leave the hotel to go to the game, Lucky opens the water and starts showering again, ha, ha, ha.

Ha, ha, ha. That's crazy. So, basically, he showers three times before 14h00?

South Americans are very fragile

Last weekend we saw Orlando Pirates make history by becoming the first Carling Knockout champions to beat the All-Stars team, after both Magesi FC and Stellenbosch FC failed to do so in the previous two seasons. Pirates were forced to play without several of their regulars as they are in camp in preparation for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations. Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou's charges beat coach Manqoba Mngqithi's team 2-0 to be crowned champions, for the second time in a week. Congratulations to Bucs as they close the year on a high note.
