RANGERS are increasingly confident of landing Denmark winger Andreas Skov Olsen on loan - and believe they can strike a deal to make the move permanent.

Talks with the 26-year-old's club Wolfsburg have progressed over the last 24 hours and Ibrox chiefs are now discussing personal terms that will cover an initial six-month loan.

And they believe they can negotiate an option to buy for considerably less than the £12million that took the Dane from Club Brugge to Germany a year ago.
