Southwell up next for Hendo's former champ

CONSTITUTION HILL is expected to draw a “bumper crowd” to Southwell after he was committed to his Flat debut by Nicky Henderson.

The Seven Barrows handler had been struggling to find a suitable race to boost his 2023 Champion Hurdle hero’s confidence without any jumps in sight.

But yesterday the BHA confirmed that a SBK-sponsored £40,000 novice 1m 4f event would be added to the Nottinghamshire venue’s Friday Night Live fixture on February 20.
