Big brother born at exactly the same time

LITTLE and large" twins with a condition that made one double the size of the other have defied the odds to survive.

Lauren Murphy was 23 weeks pregnant when she and partner James, 38, were warned unborn sons Emmett and Sebastian had life-threatening twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.

The boys shared a placenta and tiny Emmett, half the size of his brother, received less blood and nutrients.

Lauren was too far into the pregnancy to receive laser treatment and doctors said the boys had a less than 10% chance of surviving.
