Players Pocket win in doubles competition

The first quarter-final was between the mixed team of Kenny McCormack from The Midton and George Millar of Tartan Thunder. They took on John McCallum and Brian Maley from Pockets A.

McCallum and Maley raced into atwo-leglead before McCormack and Millar responded by winning leg three. However, McCallum and Maley took the next two legs to ensure a 4-1 win.
