'Nightmare' tree needs to be maintained say residents

THEY CLAIM IT AFFECTS THEIR SAFETY
FAMILIES on a street in Nottingham feel like their safety is not considered by the council after no action was taken to maintain a problematic sycamore tree.
Neighbours claim the tree, on Freemount Drive, Bilborough, has made their lives a nightmare due to the large volume of leaves, branches and twigs.
One resident, who has lived on the street for three years but wished to remain anonymous, said they have been continuously raising concerns with Nottingham City Council about the state of the tree, located in their back garden. They said they have had issues with mould and damp due to their guttering being blocked by leaves.
