Family with a baby left stranded for nine hours as RAC fails to show up

A FAMILY, including a four-monthold baby, were left stranded on a country road for nine hours when the RAC failed to show up.

Carl Hill, his partner Kate and their two young children became stuck on an A-road in rural Yorkshire when their car broke down on their way back to Hucknall from a holiday in Scarborough on Friday, October 24.

Despite reporting their situation to the RAC, the breakdown company never sent a recovery vehicle, leaving the family waiting, without food or drink, until the early hours of the morning.
