Armed police swoop after 'rifle' spotted

ARMED officers were called over reports of two people with a firearm on a city roof.

Nottinghamshire Police received a call from a member of the public after they reported seeing two individuals with a 'telescopic rifle' on the roof of a building in Radford Road, New Basford, at around 8.05 pm on Tuesday.
Armed officers were called out while a National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter provided air assistance.
