Makati to seek TRO reversal, eyes raps vs Taguig officials

The Makati City government lamented the temporary restraining order (TRO) issued by the Taguig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) over the operation of health centers located in EMBO (enlisted men’s barrio) barangays on Tuesday, May 6.

Taguig RTC issued a 72-hour TRO, ordering Makati to stop obstructing the Taguig City government from accessing and possessing government facilities in EMBO barangays.

These facilities and structures include health centers, barangay centers, multi-purpose halls, and recreation centers.

Makati City Administrator Claro Certeza said the city government shall avail itself of all legal remedies to seek a reversal of the TRO.
