Man arrested after car hits house

A MAN has been arrested after a car crashed into the front of a house in Kirkby.

Merseyside Police has confirmed officers were called to an incident in Saxon Way, Kirkby, on Saturday afternoon following reports of a crash. Officers arrived at the scene at around 4.40pm to find a car had crashed into a house.

A police spokesman said the occupant of the house was uninjured.
