'This pub is for next generation of Everton fans'

What was once a home for Liverpool FC supporters has now gone to the other side, with a rebrand seeing it rechristened as Moody Blues.

At the helm of the venue are two Evertonians, Paul Moody and Paul Egen.

They want to combine two of their passions within the venue - football and a specific genre of music.

Paul Moody, from Walton, told the ECHO: "I've been a season ticket holder since I was four years old.

"It was like a massive wrench for us to leave Goodison Park, and so to build something now where Evertonians can come and create memories is what we want to do.

"This is for the younger generation, the next set of Everton fans, and for people my age to remember the club.

"We've done the last few Everton games, and the footfall is really increasing. When Everton beat Nottingham Forest earlier this month, the place was chocka before and after the match.
