A DAD said "anything that could go wrong after birth - did" after his son was born at just 26 weeks.

Adam Weighell, 43, and his partner Gemma, 40, from Allerton, welcomed their son Toby around three months early and weighing just 760 grams. Baby Toby spent 142 days in hospital in 2017, between Liverpool Women's and Alder Hey Children's Hospital, overcoming challenges they never could have imagined. Gemma suffered from HELLP syndrome, a rare liver and blood clotting disorder, which brought baby Toby into the world far earlier than the couple expected.
