Children's hospice holds year of events to mark occasion
-
CHAS CEO Rami Okasha said: “For two decades, Robin House has been a home from home for children with life-shortening conditions and their families.
“A children’s hospice provides both specialist palliative care and support throughout the child’s life, however long or short that is.
“No-one should fact the death of their child alone, and Robin House plays a vital role in Scotland.
“It is an honour to be part of the 20th birthday celebrations at Robin House and to know this is a place where even more families can be supported in the future thanks to our wonderful staff, our committed volunteers and our generous supporters and partners.
“We remain focused on our founding vision of being there for families at every stage of their palliative care journeys, from the moment a parent learns their child is seriously ill and may die young, helping them live well, and providing dignified end-of-life care. This is only possible with the support of so many people, and I would like to thank everyone who gives to CHAS.”
