Aldi's Christmas campaign has Staffordshire roots

ROMANCE is in the air this Christmas in Leek as Aldi's Kevin the Carrot has proposed to the love of his life, Katie the Carrot.

And their notice of engagement was published last week in the Leek Post with their wedding apparently set to take place in our town.

With less than two months to go until Christmas Day, Aldi aired the first of three festive special adverts recently where Kevin pops the question in the style of the film Love Actually.
