Three people assaulted as grandad ‘flips’ in pub row

North Staffordshire Justice Centre.

GRANDAD Jamie Dunn-Fox saw red and assaulted two women before headbutting a police officer.

The 39-year-old dad-of-three was in the smoking area at The Britannia Inn, in Leek, when a row broke out about a cigarette.

The defendant was drunk when he struck a man and a woman attempting to break up the melee. He grabbed her arm and pushed her causing bruising. The landlady attempted to remove him from the premises but he grabbed her neck forcefully.

Police attended and Dunn-Fox was aggressive and violent, kicking out at the officers. He attempted to bite an officer as he resisted arrest and in custody he butted a sergeant causing a cut to the officer's nose.
