On Saturday, July 19 East Ayrshire Leisure invites the public to attend the official opening of the new Covenanting Trail walking route of 7.7 miles.

The event will begin at 11am at Lochgoin Museum and end around 2.5 to 3 hours later at Fenwick Church, where refreshments will be served.
Fenwick Church invites all who are interested to attend a conventicle service in their churchyard on Sunday, July 20 at 3pm to commemorate Fenwick Parish’s Covenanting history. A covenanters' flag and other rleics of that era can be viewed in the church.
East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action (EACHa) is looking for volunteers to help with breakfast drop-ins on Mondays, from 10am to 12noon, on a rota basis. A PVG safeguarding certificate is needed and EACHa can arrange this for volunteers.
Helpers are also needed to make up Friendly Fresh Start packs, on Monday or Wednesday from 9.30am till 12noon. This is a temporary commitment, initially for the summer months.
PVG is not required for this. Volunteers are also required to make up cloth bags to hold hygiene packs which are distributed to homeless adults and children. Please contact Janice Grant if you can help. janice.grant@hotmail. co.uk.
