SRINAGAR: Laboratory technicians at Government Medical College Srinagar on Friday staged a protest against a recent salary deduction order, terming the move unjust and demanding its immediate revocation.
The agitating technicians said they had already agreed to adhere to the stipulated 9 am to 5 pm duty schedule and were discharging their responsibilities accordingly. However, they expressed resentment over what they described as abrupt issuance of orders affecting their salaries.
